Slack Adjustor
Vocalist/guitarist Scott Frilot and drummer Scott Thompson founded Slack Adjustor in New Orleans in 2005. Frilot previously was the frontman for garage-punk outfits Electric Swamp Gas and Stereobabble. He was also a member of The Tomatoes. Thompson was the drummer for pop-punk band The Joneses and also played with The Tomatoes for a short period.
Neil Heusel of Southern Junction and Buckshot and the Barnstormers was recruited to play bass.
The trio released their debut album Volume I at the famed Music Shed in New Orleans. The record was produced by Grammy-award winner Chris Finney. Volume I was released on November 27th, 2009.
They have just released Chop Shop on October 5th of 2012, which was also produced by Finney.
Lance Sherlock(Electric Swamp Gas and Stereobabble) has taken over the drum duties from Thompson. Lance and Scott have played together in previous bands and projects for close to 15 years and Lance, Scott and Neil have all been intertwined for the past 25 yrs.

The Tomatoes
2004
I played guitar in the Tomatoes in 2004 but had to quit after 8 months of touring due to the fact that I was poor. I then 're-joined' in 2007 - 2013 for the ROCK!

ANTIX
Basically, in 1990, Ted Torres, Scott Frilot and Lance Sherlock got together and started a band. That band was called ANTIX. They started out playing covers - KISS, Van Halen, AC/DC, etc.. They were fortunate to play at Jimmy's Music Club(New Orleans) and good ol' Friar Tucks( Canal & Carrollton - you know who you are) as well some other music venues.
The 3 eventually recorded an EP called Antix vs Godzilla, with the help of Greg Troyer. It was released on cassette(remember those?).
The band broke up in 1994.
In 1998 the guys reformed to record some more songs, with the help of George Ortolano. "Slippery Days" was the product of those recordings.
Now, each are working on their own projects. Ted is a writer; Lance has his own recording studio; and Scott has his own band, Slack Adjustor.
Unfortunately, the name 'antix' is a very popular band name, so getting any sort of custom URL or specific website is out of the question. This is just for the music anyway.
These mixes have been digitally restored for your listening pleasure. - The funny thing about this digital age and putting this stuff up so late is that there are a TON of 'Antix' bands out there - We didn't change the name but we needed something to distinguish ourselves in the digital age as the Antix from NOLA - hense the AntixNOLA user ID.
Ted, Lance and Scott recently got back together played a show at the end of 2013 at Twist of Lime.
